Utility cost assurance · United Arab Emirates
Someone should be checking every utility invoice. Usually nobody is.
Influx Pulse validates electricity, water and district cooling invoices across multi-site estates in the UAE — flagging exceptions, tracking consumption, and turning a monthly pile of PDFs into something you can actually manage.
The problem isn't the tariff. It's the volume.
A forty-site estate generates several hundred utility invoices a year across electricity, water and cooling. Each one carries a meter read, a slab calculation, a fixed charge, a surcharge and a VAT line. Checking one properly takes fifteen minutes. Checking all of them properly is a full-time job nobody has been given.
So the invoices get paid. Approval becomes a formality. And the estate loses the ability to answer basic questions — which site is drifting, what changed last quarter, whether the charge on that meter is even right.
Every invoice checked
Line-by-line validation against tariff, meter read, contracted capacity and the billing period. Not a sample. All of them.
The whole estate, one view
Site and meter hierarchy, consumption trends, cost per square metre, league tables. Built on your own data, not benchmarks.
Exceptions, not noise
You see what looks wrong and why. Estimated reads, tariff mismatches, demand-charge drift, consumption that moved without a reason.
What we cover
Three utilities, from day one.
Electricity
Slab tariffs, fuel surcharge, demand charges on larger supplies, power factor, estimated reads and change-of-tenancy errors.
Water
Consumption slabs, sewerage and related charges, shared-meter apportionment, and the leak signatures that hide inside a monthly total.
District cooling
Two-part billing — capacity and consumption — against an RSB-approved tariff. Often the largest single line, and the least scrutinised.
Where we start
We begin by looking backwards.
Before any subscription starts, we audit the historic billing data you already hold. It establishes a baseline, it tells us how your estate is actually charged, and where there is a genuine case, it identifies charges worth disputing.
That audit is the opening move, not the business. The ongoing work — validation, monitoring and reporting every month — is what actually changes how the estate is run.
We will be straight with you about this. Billing-error recovery in the UAE is not a well-trodden path. We are not going to quote you a hit rate or a typical refund, because nobody has credible numbers for this market and we would rather say so than invent one.
What we can tell you is exactly what we find in your data, and what the grounds for a challenge would be.
Who it's built for
Multi-site estates with one payer.
Influx Pulse is built for organisations with many meters, meaningful spend, and a single person or team carrying the whole utility bill. If reconciliation currently happens in a spreadsheet, or doesn't happen at all, that is the problem we solve.
- Multi-site — typically ten locations or more
- Many meters, often more meters than sites
- Meaningful annual utility spend
- Manual reconciliation today, or none
- One payer — a single decision-maker across the estate
It is not built for single-site businesses, residential property, or arrangements where the landlord is the payer. We will tell you early if you are not a fit.
Start with your own bills.
The fastest way to know whether this is worth your time is to let us look at a few months of real invoices and tell you what we see. No obligation, and no pitch until there is something concrete to talk about.
